Paul Bornemann

I have a broad background in psychiatric management of patients in primary care and chronic pain management.  I completed a combined family medicine and psychiatry internship in 2006 and have had a special interest in chronic pain management and opioid addiction treatment in primary care.  I have given multiple local lectures on the topic and also helped to implement standard practices at several clinics.  I have implemented a training curriculum for opioid addiction treatment with medication assisted therapy in the Prisma Health Family Medicine Residency in Columbia, SC and am working with SC AHEC to help other training programs throughout the state implement training as well.
