Brandi Simmons is a Prevention Specialist at The Phoenix Center of Greenville. Brandi is the ECHO Grant Coordinator, focusing on prescription drug abuse. She is the former president of the South Carolina Association of Prevention Professionals and Advocates and now their acting treasurer, the secretary for the Greenville Association of School Resource Officers, and she also represents the agency on a number of other community coalitions. Brandi speaks to community groups throughout the county on a variety of topics related to Alcohol, Tobacco and other Drugs. She has worked in the Prevention field for over 10 years. Brandi started volunteering with The Phoenix Center in college, and was hired on as a full time staff member in November 2007. She graduated from Clemson University in May 2007, with a BS degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. Brandi became a Senior Certified Prevention Specialist in August 2013.
